Mudcat here, the trip to the South Texas coast was a great success. We raised over 2,000 dollars for cancer reasearch and everyone had a great time. The accomodations were impeccable. The beach house was fantastic, 3600 square feet of comfort. The air conditioner was not effected even though it was hosting around 10 people for the
weekend. We sang, laughed, and got to know each other so well. Interesting conversations from every corner. The concert was great, a nice big stage, a quality sound. A whole new group of people to play for, I was stopped by many people to say that the playing was "stellar" and that the Tredway band was extremely entertaining actually to the point of 100% audience particpation on "For what it is worth/Season of the Witch. I saw a man I hadn't seen since 1975 that saw me in bands such as Liberation and Alazon. It was a total cool time that was had by all.
PS There was a guy there that was bicycling around the world. His brother he said manages a club in Paris, France not Texas. He is going to write his brother about us....who knows maybe a gig in Paris??
